The Springs Market, a food initiative under Kids On The River Inc., is located in Sulphur Springs, Tampa, Florida. Founded by Charlie Adams, the Director of "KTR" and President of the Sulphur Springs Neighborhood Association "Action League," it draws from nearly 80 years of family heritage. Our mission is to promote nature, nourishment, and nutrition through a vibrant farmers' market that celebrates the community’s history and natural beauty while fostering pride and identity, especially in light of the limited access to fresh, healthy food in the area.
By utilizing local green spaces, we aim to cultivate cultural pride and provide access to wholesome food, along with job and entrepreneurial opportunities. The market serves as a platform for community bonding and healing, honoring the historical significance of the natural spring.
